Manufacturing Solutions Across Multiple Sectors

Total Precision delivers turnkey UK manufacturing solutions for demanding industries, managing everything from product design and tooling to production, assembly, testing, packaging and white-label supply.

Manufacturing Built Around Your Industry

Every sector brings its own requirements for materials, performance, production volume and quality control. Total Precision develops each manufacturing solution around the application and the environment in which the finished component will be used.

We can manufacture an individual plastic or metal component, combine different processes or manage a complete product through assembly, inspection, testing and packaging.

This integrated approach gives customers a clearer and more efficient route from an initial drawing, existing tool or component requirement to repeatable production.

From Individual Component to Complete Assembly

Some customers require a single precision-moulded or pressed component. Others need several parts brought together into a complete, tested and packaged product.

Total Precision can combine plastic injection moulding, metal pressing, insert moulding, overmoulding and electro-mechanical assembly within one coordinated manufacturing programme.

By managing more of the process through one manufacturing partner, customers can simplify their supply chain and maintain greater control over quality, consistency and delivery.

Quality Built Into Every Stage

Quality begins with understanding the component, its function and the demands of its intended application.

Total Precision operates an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, supported by first-off, in-process and final inspection. Electrical, mechanical, dimensional, leak and flow testing can also be incorporated where required.

This controlled approach supports reliable, repeatable manufacture across both individual components and complete assembled products.

Electronics

Total Precision manufactures precision plastic and metal components for electronic products, temperature-monitoring equipment, smoke alarms and gas detectors. Production includes connector blocks and housings for temperature probes, along with brass thermal tabs manufactured as continuous reel-to-reel metal pressings. Pressed components can be coordinated through specialist nickel and tin plating before being returned on reels for use within automated surface-mount production lines. Total Precision also manufactures high-power connectors and overmoulded leadframes by combining in-house metal pressing with precision plastic overmoulding. Components can undergo forming, full inspection and electrical or Hi-Pot testing before being supplied in protective, returnable ESD packaging. Automated and manual assembly options are also available for different production requirements.

Building

Total Precision manufactures an extensive range of plastic components for windows, doors, decking, gates and other building-product systems. These include moulded connectors, angle joints, spacers, fittings, gate hinges, protective caps, feet and components designed for use with extruded PVC systems. The company also produces plastic spacer blocks and connectors that progress through an automated assembly process, where brass screws or other metal inserts can be accurately fitted before packaging. Production can support sliding and soft-close window and door systems, static caravan products and low-maintenance PVC decking and gates. Customers can use Total Precision for individual moulded parts or for a complete assembled product, supplied sealed, boxed with instructions and presented in the customer’s own branded packaging.

Heavy Truck

Total Precision manufactures precision-moulded, pressed and overmoulded components for heavy trucks, off-highway vehicles and other demanding vehicle applications. Its capabilities include producing stamped metal parts before overmoulding them within engineered plastic connector blocks or housings to create a single finished component. The company has also manufactured moulded covers and specialist plastic components for off-highway equipment and emerging hydrogen-engine applications. Each project is assessed carefully according to its materials, production volumes, performance requirements and required manufacturing tolerances. Inspection, electrical or mechanical testing and controlled packaging can be incorporated into the manufacturing process. This provides customers with repeatable components that are ready to progress directly into their own vehicle assembly or wider production operation.

Medical

Total Precision manufactures fine-tolerance external plastic components for selected non-invasive medical, breathing and respiratory equipment. These applications require careful material selection, controlled production and consistent dimensional accuracy throughout the manufacturing run. First-off components are inspected before full production begins, with additional in-process and final checks undertaken to maintain repeatability. Coordinate measuring equipment supports detailed dimensional inspection where fine tolerances are required. A Class 7 clean-room environment is also operated around a bespoke moulding process for applications requiring additional production control. Total Precision deliberately focuses on suitable external and non-invasive medical components, ensuring each opportunity is reviewed carefully against the company’s equipment, experience, quality procedures and available inspection capabilities.

Automotive

Total Precision supports selected automotive manufacturing projects involving precision-moulded components, metal pressings, overmoulded connectors and assembled products. Stamped metal parts can be manufactured in-house before being accurately positioned within a mould tool and encapsulated in engineering-grade plastic. Additional production has included moulded covers and connector components for automotive, off-highway and new-energy applications. Every project is reviewed according to its technical requirements, materials, production volumes and required quality controls. Finished components can progress through forming, dimensional inspection, electrical testing or mechanical testing as required. Protective or returnable ESD packaging can also be provided for sensitive parts. This integrated approach allows several stages of automotive component manufacture to be managed through one accountable production partner.

Brewery

Total Precision manufactures and assembles plastic components for breweries, hospitality businesses and drinks-dispense equipment suppliers. Products include components used within beer taps, drinks trays and pump handles, alongside replacement parts for existing dispense systems. The company can manufacture several separate moulded components before bringing them together through skilled hand assembly. Decorative metal elements, fittings and other supplied parts can also be added to produce a completed unit. Finished products can be inspected, sealed and boxed with the appropriate instructions before being supplied in packaging carrying the customer’s own branding. This white-label capability allows Total Precision to manage the journey from individual plastic components to a customer-ready product prepared for onward distribution or installation.

Gas & Oil

Total Precision supplies precision-manufactured components for gas, oil and demanding industrial applications. Every component is developed around the customer’s drawing, existing sample, tooling, technical specification and intended operating environment. The available manufacturing route can combine plastic injection moulding, precision metal pressing, insert moulding, overmoulding, assembly and product testing. Engineering-grade materials are selected according to the required component performance, with production supported by documented first-off, in-process and final inspection procedures. Where several manufacturing processes are required, Total Precision can coordinate them through one production programme. This reduces the need for customers to manage separate moulding, metalwork, assembly, inspection and packaging suppliers while maintaining clearer responsibility throughout the manufacturing process.

Trains

Total Precision manufactures precision metal and overmoulded components for railway electrical equipment and relay applications. Production includes pressed metal contact fingers manufactured in-house before being sent to a specialist supply-chain partner for the fitting of contact tips. The components are then returned to Total Precision, where they are accurately positioned and overmoulded to create the required engineered assembly. Following overmoulding, the components progress through specialist cleaning and final inspection before being used within railway contact and relay systems. This work demonstrates Total Precision’s ability to manage a product across several linked manufacturing stages. Customers benefit from one accountable partner coordinating metal pressing, specialist external operations, plastic overmoulding, cleaning and quality control.

Transport

Total Precision manufactures plastic, metal and assembled components for transport-related products and equipment. Customers can approach the company with an initial concept, engineering drawing, existing component, transferred mould tool or an established manufacturing challenge. The team can then develop an appropriate production route using plastic injection moulding, precision metal pressing, insert moulding, overmoulding, manual or automated assembly and purpose-built testing. First-off, in-process and final inspection procedures help maintain dimensional consistency throughout production. Individual components can be supplied for use within a customer’s existing operation, or Total Precision can take responsibility for several connected processes. Finished products can also be inspected, tested and packaged ready for their next stage of production or distribution.

Aerospace

Total Precision supports selected aerospace manufacturing requirements where precision, material performance and controlled production are essential. Each opportunity is reviewed individually against the customer’s drawings, component specifications, intended application and required inspection standards. Available processes include precision plastic injection moulding, metal pressing, insert moulding, overmoulding and the assembly of multiple manufactured components. A range of engineering-grade plastics can be processed, including Nylon, PBT, ABS, PP, HDPE, POM and PPS. Production is supported by first-off, in-process and final inspections, alongside coordinate measuring capability for detailed dimensional verification. Where appropriate, additional electrical, electronic or mechanical testing can be developed around the requirements of the finished component.
